| Biography |
Hanna Seiman's love of color is evidenced in all of her luminous paintings. They are carefully crafted by developing fields of color on a flat plane that become mysteriously three dimensional, full of movement. Her work pays homage to abstact expressionism and color field painting, with a keen awareness of light and formal organization. Ms. Seiman has a MA from NYU and has studied with William Scharf and Larry Poons. She has taught in New York and Monmouth County. Her work has been exhibited in the US and Europe. Ms. Seiman maintains a studio in Monmouth County and New York City. |
